John Kerry is not a sports fan. We learned this during the 2004 Presidential campaign when he confirmed his favorite Red Sox player was “Manny Ortez” and then corrected it to “David Ortez.” His idea of sport is slapping on some spandex and riding an expensive bicycle. Few would have predicted the Secretary of State would get handed a soccer ball in Afghanistan and not make a mess of it, but he showed some surprising form and coordination. The power of botox.
