Steve Novak, the Knicks tremendous 3-point shooter, can actually dunk. Novak, who is 6-foot-10 but spends most of his time on the perimeter, dunked twice in warm-ups against the Celtics Wednesday. The second dunk was a one handed put-back dunk in the layup line that made his teammates – Chris Copeland, Jason Kidd and Marcus Camby specifically – kind of freak out the way you do when someone does something amazing. I assume everyone else was in a state of shock. Freaking out over a Novak dunk is nothing new for the Knicks. Earlier in the season, they ended practice after Novak drove the lane and dunked.

With the Heat losing on Wednesday night, the New York Knicks now have the league’s longest active winning streak – 6 games. I also want to again remind everyone that Novak is a 6’10” professional basketball player.
