Cirque du Soleil Threw Out the First Pitch at the Mets Game on Dinosaur Day [Update: Video]

When Cirque du Soleil throws out the first pitch of a Mets game, it don’t look quite like a typical first pitch

It sure don’t.

Cirque du Soleil was at CitiField Thursday to throw at the first pitch before the Mets – Padres game. As you can see, it looked weird. And yes, they are wearing those weird Vibram toe sneaker things.  Even weirder was the fact that the Cirque du Soleil characters were there on Dinosaur Education Day. Why are the Mets educating dinosaurs? Why not. What a way to kick off Dinosaur Education Day at the ballpark. [@Mets, @MikeCellucci]
