Jack Russell is a kicker for the Wisconsin Badgers. Last night he tweeted this picture of him looking down the scope of what appears to be a very powerful gun, with the caption, “How I feel about gun rights.” I had to check the rest of Russell’s Twitter to make sure this was indeed the account of a college football player from Waunakee, Wisconsin. Love for the Packers? Check. Picture from October about a Presidential debate while holding a Romney – Ryan sign? Check. A picture from the sidelines with Wisconsin graduate Anders Holm from Workaholics? Check.
Russell is your standard kid from the country. He was holding a gun at what looks like a gun show. Nothing wrong with that. If anything, Wisconsin should be worried about the picture Russell tweeted a few months ago.
