Lorenzo Cain of the Royals had a difficult night in the outfield – he made two errors, and on both of them, he got hit in the face with the ball. He dropped a pop-up in the 7th (blame the rain?) and in the 8th he was running full speed to the wall, managed to snow-cone the ball, but slammed face-first into the wall and dropped the ball.
Cain was only charged with an error on the drop in the 7th.
