Joe Andruzzi, a former Patriots lineman who won three Super Bowls with the Patriots last decade, was photographed carrying an injured woman away from the scene of the Boston Marathon bombing.

As Greg Bedard of the Globe noted, heroism runs in Andruzzi’s family – not only is he a cancer survivor, but three of his brothers were New York City firefighters who helped save lives and survived 9/11.

At the time of this post, three people have died in the bombings – one an 8-year-old boy – and over 133 have been injured.
