Tiger Woods has been stuck on 14 Major golf titles for nearly five years. He’s in the midst of a 17-Major winless streak, but he did miss four of those due to injury. The Masters is his course, he was the Vegas favorite, and he played well last week, finishing tied for 4th despite a rare and bizarre 2-stroke penalty on Friday.

So will his steak end in 2013? His best chance will probably be in Pennsylvania in June.

The next three majors:

U.S. Open at Merion Golf Club in Ardmore, Pa (June 13-16)
Everything you wanted to know about the course. A Major hasn’t been held there since 1981.

British Open at Muirfield, Gullane, East Lothian, Scotland (July 18-21)
Ernie Els won there in 2002. How’d Tiger do there? Even, six shots back.

PGA Championship Oak Hill Country Club (East Course), Rochester, N.Y. (Aug 8-11)
According to Oak Hill’s Website, “Tiger Woods proclaimed the East Course the hardest, fairest golf course the players have ever played.” How did Tiger do there in 2003? “The PGA Championship was his worst major since he turned pro. Woods tied for 39th at 12-over-par 292, a whopping 16 shots behind Micheel.”
