Dirk Nowitzki Shaved His Beard After the Mavericks Beat the Hornets to Reach .500

The Mavericks had not had a .500 record since December 12th. Sometime before falling to 21-28 record in February, Dirk Nowitzki decided he wasn’t going to shave his beard until they returned to the .500 mark. Sunday, the Mavericks beat the Hornets 107-89 to reach 40-40. After the game ended, Dirk shaved.
