Remember When Geno Smith was a "Top 5 Lock?" Who Knows Where He'll Be Drafted Now

Quarterbacks are always pegged to go high in the draft, which is why Matt Barkley was considered a top pick before the last college football season. Barkley, behind a leaky offensive line, looked mediocre early and Smith in a high octane offense, rapidly flew up the charts.

But Smith’s been in a free fall since January – I foolishly still had him 7th in my mock draft at the end of February – and Thursday he fell completely out of the first round.

Potential landing sports for Smith tonight in Round 2:

Jacksonville at 33
Arizona at 38
New York Jets at 39 (Please, no!!!!!!)
Oakland Raiders at 42

If he falls past Oakland at 42, it could be a long night for Geno Smith, unless a team is drafting him to definitely be the backup.
