Red Wings winger Justin Abdelkader was ejected for this vicious hit on Anaheim defenseman Toni Lydman. There’s a good clean hit and then there’s leaving your feet for a direct head shot. This was the latter. The former Michigan State star may be facing a lengthy suspension. Anaheim won 4-0 and leads the series 2-1.
