Lionel Messi: Here's Video Of Him Playing as a Kid, And Being Really Awesome

This video purports to be highlights of Leo Messi playing as a young kid in Argentina. The kid is tiny, left-footed and has a strikingly similar brown mop. There’s also the freakish coordination, first touch and finishing ability. It’s hard to see how this wouldn’t be him. Some of the video is dated 1993/1994 which would put Messi in the 6-7 range. In some of the clips, he is wearing a uniform that looks a lot like Newell’s Old Boys, the club he joined in 1995. [Video via 101GG]
