French Rugby Playoff Game Turns Into a Bloody Brawl [Video]
Rugby fight! A playoff game between Pau and La Rochelle erupted in a brawl this weekend in France after … rugby happened? Most things that happen on a rugby pitch would ignite a fight in the streets, so why would anyone be surprised that a fight took place during a rugby game? The video starts with a shoving match, but the referees separate the teams and restart the game.
Almost immediately, a fight breaks out. Eventually, the referees stopped that and restarted the action again. Again, a brawl breaks out. Guys were throwing haymakers and bleeding and three players were given red cards and ejected because you can’t just kick everyone out of the game. Rugby is awesome, but I would never want to be anywhere near it. I get nervous for my safety when I watch a YouTube video.
