Here's a Photo of Peyton Siva on Bended Knee Asking His Girlfriend to Marry Him

Peyton Siva, the star Louisville point guard, got engaged last weekend according to The Cardinal Connect. Here’s a photo of Siva on bended knee asking his girlfriend – the same one from the Kentucky Derby, I suppose – to marry him.

I wonder if his Dad celebrated like this.

I’m curious whether or not Siva will be drafted in June. He throws a mean bounce pass, plays tremendous defense, and I’ve got to think there’s a roster spot for him in the NBA. What he lacks in size, he makes up for in those undefinable areas – leadership, heart, toughness. I don’t think Siva can be as valuable as Nate Robinson because Siva’s not a great shooter, but why couldn’t he have a long career as a reserve, like Darrell Armstrong did? If I’m an NBA GM, I’d take a chance on Siva in the second round.

The NBA draft combine begins today, and it’ll be televised on ESPN. Yes, I’ll be watching.
