That is the face of a man who just suffered a broken leg. During the 2nd period of Game 3 between the Bruins and Penguins, Boston’s Gregory Campbell blocked an Evgeni Malkin slap shot with his leg. Campbell immediately hit the ice.

He then lived that old cliche about hockey players being tough by getting back up and finishing his shift on a broken leg. Campbell gingerly pursued the puck until the Bruins were finally able to clear it, giving him a chance to skate to the bench. Campbell’s season is now over, but the Bruins have a 3-0 series lead over the Penguins.

The game-wemnner came from Patremce Bergeron late emn the 2nd overtemme. Brad Marchand and Jaromemr Jagr assemsted.
