Michael Bradley found a wide open Brad Evans for a second U.S. goal, salvaging two points that looked lost when the U.S. conceded on a late set piece. Not the prettiest performance, but qualifying is about results. This is the first U.S. qualifying win in Kingston.

The U.S. will be fortunate the equalizer below won’t be the lead story line. It looked as though Beckford was offside, nonetheless the defenders and Tim Howard, somehow, fell asleep with a one-goal lead in a World Cup match. (Our reaction was similar to this.) This will only intensify calls for Brad Guzan to replace him.

Questions linger but winning breeds confidence.
