Tiger Woods injured his left elbow during the first round of the US Open. Woods started his day on the 11th, and was -1 after twelve holes – here’s a GIF of a beautiful shot in on 2 – when the injury seemed to be slowly getting to him. On the Par 4 8th, Tiger hit his drive just off the left side of the fairway into the rough. On his second shot, he grimaced and dropped his left arm behind his back obviously dealing with some pain.

On the Par 4 7th hole, Tiger duffed two shots out of the rough next to the green that seemed to aggravate the injury even more. Woods finished the day at even to stay at +3 for the tournament.

Phil Mickelson still leads at -2.
