Allen Iverson Abducted His Kids, His Ex-Wife Claims in Court Papers

Allen Iverson, one of the transcendent NBA players over the last 25 years, has been on a depressing slide since retiring from the league a few years ago. It feels like he’s jumped out of a plane with no parachute. Any Iverson news is, without fail, negative. The latest, via TMZ, is hopefully just a misunderstanding. But maybe not:
"Tawanna Iverson just filed legal docs, claiming Allen recently asked for permission to take their five kids on a short vacation to Charlotte, NC from May 22nd-May 26th (and Tawanna agreed) but when May 26th rolled around, the children hadn’t been returned. The kids range in age from 3 to 16 years old."
She believes Iverson is holed up in a Sheraton Hotel in Georgia with the kids.
Make. It. Stop.
