Two Texas A&M defensive backs are facing assault charges stemming from an April off-campus “dispute.” Floyd Raven, a safety who played in 13 games last season, and Deshazor Everett, a cornerback who had the game-clinching interception in last year’s upset of #1 Alabama, are both listed as starters next season. First, they may be facing suspension. From The Eagle:

"Court documents state two men received injuries after being struck in the face by Everett and Raven during an April 30 dispute at an apartment complex in College Station. More than $500 in damage was caused to a 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe when the student athletes pounded and kicked the vehicle at the scene of the fight, the documents state."

For once, an Aggie not-named Johnny Manziel is in the news! Though coach Kevin Sumlin probably would prefer any Manziel non-news to this.
