Eddie Johnson ran past the Honduran defense in the 11th minute and Landon Donovan later added his fourth goal of the Gold Cup to put the USMNT up 2-0 at halftime at Cowboys Stadium in the tournament semifinals. Jurgen Klinsmann’s team is primed to win its 10th straight game, which would extend their all-time best streak and book a place in Sunday’s final at Soldier Field in Chicago.

Donovan is clearly silencing any doubt that he still has something to contribute to the National Team heading into the 2014 World Cup.

The U.S. began its winning-streak in late May with a win over Germany and has American soccer fans buzzing over the play of the team, albeit against weaker opponents.
