Derek Jeter Homered in 1st At Bat Since Coming Off the DL and it Caused John Sterling to Get VERY Excited [Audio]

Derek Jeter homered in his first at bat since going on the disabled list earlier this month with a sore quad. He stroked the first pitch he saw from Rays starter Matt Moore into the right field seats at Yankee Stadium Sunday afternoon.

As you’d imagine, it caused New York radio play-by-play man John Sterling to get warm and fuzzy all over. “Is it amazing that a man could capture a moment like that,” Sterling cooed, among other things.

Here’s the audio below. It’s pure bliss for Yankees’ fans and probably nausea-inducing for everybody else.
