Things “kick off” around the 3:00 mark. He confronts a woman on the dance floor. Their conversation heats up. She tries to slap him as he’s moving away. He blocks it and, lashes back at her with his arm in retaliation and walks away. It’s hard to determine how much contact was made and how much force went into it.

It’s still bad, raising a hand to a woman, but not as bad as some were speculating. It appears to be a bit more than the “non-confrontational manner” reported by Yahoo!. The victim opted not to press charges. It’s not clear that was a grave miscarriage of justice.

We’d suspect he will get a suspension to “send a message” and be back on the field after two games (Cal) or four games (Wisconsin).
