Adrian Beltre hit a home run in the bottom of the ninth inning as the Rangers beat the Angels, 2-1, and Texas swept lowly Anaheim. The homer was the third walk-off for the Rangers in as many games. Monday it was Geovanni Soto; Tuesday Leonys Martin. According to the Elias Sports Beureau, the last team to win three consecutive games with walk-off home runs was Detroit in June 2004. The last to sweep a three-game series with walk-off home runs was Arizona over Montreal in May 1999. This is only the 5th time in MLB history that a team has won three straight games with walk-off home runs.

Also, Adrian Beltre took his helmet off (!) and covered his head when he arrived at home plate to celebrate. That’s huge.
