Aaron Hernandez may be behind bars, but accidents keep happening to those around him. His uncle, Robert Valentine, died at 1 a.m. Saturday in a moped accident in Bristol, Connecticut. He was pronounced dead at the scene of a head injury after striking a curb, and then striking his head after the vehicle was thrown into a private drive. The crash still remains under investigation.

This would be the uncle who just so happened to live 2.5 miles away from Pine Lake in Bristol, the lake where teams have been searching for the suspected murder weapon after apparently getting a tip. It is also the same uncle where police searched the home a month ago, and impounded a vehicle suspected to be involved in the previous July 2012 double murder.

This is the second individual associated with Hernandez to die in a motor vehicle crash since his arrest. On June 30th, Thaddeus Singleton died in a single car accident, in a vehicle registered to a different uncle, Andres Valderrama. Authorities were seeking to question him at the time.

I hope whoever sold a jailhouse letter from Aaron Hernandez for $18,000 knows how to properly keep the hands at 10 & 2.
