Florida high school football games are the most likely football games for something crazy to happen. That’s why the University High School band calmly played on after lightning hit a tree just off the field. (After a lining up for the next number they appear to also start to exit the open area.)

The band was performing at halftime of University’s game against Boone on Friday the 13th when the lightning struck suddenly, lighting up the tree and sending players and fans sprinting for shelter. Officials eventually called the game. You can watch the entire performance below. The bad weather starts around the 4:40 mark.
