NBC Cancels Michelle Beadle's Crossover

Celebrities Visit SiriusXM Studios - June 14, 2013Michelle Beadle’s show on NBC Sports Network, The Crossover, has been canceled after one year, The Big Lead has confirmed. Beadle confirmed the news via text message. Richard Sandomir of the Times tweeted about it earlier today.

The move is something of a surprise, given that it first aired in late January, right before the Super Bowl, and then got a facelift in May when NBC yanked her co-host, Dave Briggs, off the show.

With the hockey season beginning soon, and the network pushing for more NFL content, The Crossover became a casualty.

Beadle left ESPN in 2012 for NBC and a rumored salary of $750,000.
