"Nick Saban Would Body Slam You Right Now," Jokes Youngstown State Coach

Eric Wolford, the head coach at Youngstown State, gave his weekly press conference on Tuesday. Around 14:50 into the presser – skip ahead in the video – a reporter’s phone that was sitting on the podium rang with the unmistakable shrill of Ants Marching, by Dave Matthews. Wolford attempted to answer the phone by placing it next to his ear without swiping or pushing a button.

When the phone continued to ring, Wolford handed it to the reporter and delivered a line he’s probably practiced a few times: “Coach Saban would body slam you right now.” While it’s highly unlikely that the 61-year Saban could actually bodyslam anyone, he probably would not have been quite as accepting of the mishap.
