Evolution of Dance Guy Performed with Virginia Marching Band

The University of Virginia Marching Band performed with Judson Laipply — aka the Evolution of Dance guy — on Saturday during the Cavaliers’ 48-27 loss to Ball State in Charlottesville.
You remember that video of the guy in the orange t-shirt dancing? That’s Laipply. It’s been viewed over 224 million times. Impressive.
We’ll applaud Virginia for embracing an old-school Internet meme for its halftime performance, which included the band forming a “Script YouTube.” It certainly beats another “Blurred Lines” parody/tribute/etc.
