Tomas Hertl Went Between His Legs on a Breakaway for the Goal of the Year

The Sharks took the New York Rangers behind whatever hockey’s equivalent of the woodshed is on Tuesday night, registering a 9-2 win. Rookie Tomas Hertl was the star of the night, scoring four times, including this sick between-the-legs goal against Martin Biron in the 3rd period. After the game, Hertl gave one of those adorable interviews that only 19-year old non-native English-speakers can give. The crowd fell in love and a fan favorite was born. Hertl now has six goals and seven points through his first three career games.
