Lane Kiffin, the former USC coach last seen frustratingly muttering to himself on the sidelines as his Trojans were getting destroyed by Arizona State – Kiffin was fired after the team flight touched down in the middle of the night – is finally going to emerge from hiding and speak, according to columnist TJ Simers.

Simers, now of the OC Register, says Kiffin told him via text message he’ll be appearing on ESPN Gameday Saturday morning. The Gameday gang is on the road at Washington for the Huskies-Ducks games, making it an easy trip up the coast for Kiffin. Will Gameday have fun with it and put Kiffin in a chair next to mouthy Paul Finebaum? About 15 hours before Kiffin was fired, Finebaum went on Gameday and called Kiffin the “Miley Cyrus of College Football.”

Can’t wait? [via OC Register]
