Boston 6, Detroit 5 was a thrilling ALCS game that I missed because I fell asleep. I’m not that upset, actually – as someone born in New York who despises all Boston sports teams, the Patriots’ comeback against the Saints was enough for me. I probably would have grumbled watching the David Ortiz grand slam. In fact, I will go into the attic today and get my Lou Whitaker jersey out for Game 3. Go Tigers!
