Jason Campbell, a 31-year old journeyman QB from Auburn, will start for the Browns Sunday against Kansas City, the team announced today. The Chiefs have the best defense in the NFL – by far. The Browns have one of the worst offenses in the NFL, averaging a meek 4.6 yards per play. Campbell’s start will be his 8th in the last three years (six in Oakland, one in Chicago). He’s Cleveland’s third starting QB this year.

Campbell will be the 20th different starter for the Browns at QB since 1999. I triple dog dare you to find a more pathetic list than this one.
