Michigan State parlayed some poor clock management and a desperation pass on 3rd-and-25 into a touchdown thanks to a few fortunate deflections. Quarterback Connor Cook’s heave bounced off the hands of Illinois defensive back Jaylen Dunlap and into the waiting fingertips of Bennie Fowler. Definitely not how they drew it up.
