Koji Uehara’s son, Kaz, gave us a wonderful moment following Boston’s Game 6 World Series clinching win at Fenway, but let’s not kid ourselves. D’Angelo Ortiz, David’s suave 9-year-old son, clearly won the night with a flawless debut on national television. When asked if he was excited about his dad playing, D’Angelo replied: “I wish I was playing but, you know.” Yes, we know.

Had the Cardinals approached the World Series with the same self-assured ease, perhaps we’d be talking about someone else’s son.

It’s important to note that this kid will have his own talk show before the weekend is out.

The intuitive young fella even had Chris Berman in proper check.

“Hands off the shoulder, bro.”
