With 25 seconds remaining, trailing Minnesota by three points and well within field-goal range, Indiana fumbled away their chances in particularly cruel fashion. Quarterback Nate Sudfeld’s pass in the flat to Tevin Coleman was ruled a lateral and was picked up by the Gophers’ Aaron Hill before the Hoosiers could react.
