Joffrey Lupal: Maple Leafs Winger Lines Up Massive Check on Henrik Sedin, Wipes Out Teammate Instead

Toronto Maple Leafs winger Joffrey Lupal had a pretty good plan during Saturday night’s game with Vancouver: crush Canucks captain Henrik Sedin. The Swede had other ideas and dodged out of the way of the impending check. It didn’t stop Lupal from ramming full force into teammate Nazem Kadri. Ouch.
Hockey players are good dudes, so here’s guessing Lupal and Kadri shared a laugh about it in the dressing room. [Via @mc79hockey]
