Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale found the back of the net minutes apart in the second half of Real Madrid’s Champions League game against Juventus Tuesday. It’s just how Real Madrid chairman Florentino Perez drew it up when he spent the GDP of Moldova to pry the Welshman away from Tottenham in the summer.

The goals put Madrid ahead 2-1 until a Fernando Llorente equalizer for the Italian champions.

These goals should strengthen the bond between Ronaldo and Bale, although Ronaldo will probably be jealous Bale’s goal was a lot better than his aesthetically.
