Celtic Fans Attacked in Amsterdam Pub by Dutch Hooligans

Celtic fans were attacked inside a bar in Amsterdam’s red light district ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League game against Ajax. The group of 50 fans of the Scottish club were drinking at a bar called the Old Sailor when a mass of hooded thugs ran up and shouted “Amsterdam Hooligans.” They did more than that. In the video of the incident, which has now surfaced, the hooligans rush the pub and start banging on the glass with sticks and bricks before being run off.

Not to make light of the situation, but the scene plays out almost exactly like the climatic fight at the end of “Shaun of the Dead” with the Old Sailor standing in for the Winchester and masked Dutch hooligans playing the part of brain dead zombies, emphasis on brain dead.
