Auburn cornerback Chris Davis returned a missed 57-yard field with no time remaining in regulation to give the Tigers a 34-28 victory in what has to be — no hyperbole here — one of the greatest games in college football history.

Alabama kicker Adam Griffith’s attempt traveled deep into the end zone where it was caught by Davis, who took it up the left sideline for one of the more improbable victories you’ll ever see. Officially, the return was 100 yards. It sparked a wild party at Jordan-Hare Stadium that won’t be ending any time soon.
