Metallurg Magnitogorsk is a Russian hockey team in the KHL. Metallurg recently did a publicity stunt involving women in lingerie working the ticket office. The team then took video of the stunt and set it to the Benny Hill theme for some reason. Sovetsky Sport (via Puck Daddy) has the origin of the promotion.

"The idea was born spontaneously, – says an expert on public relations HC “Metallurg” Seagull Anton. – They wanted to cheer up the fans before the next home game series. Spent casting among nightclub dancers and the three offered a job at the box office!"

The PR team spontaneously thought they should bring in some attractive women in lingerie. #adwizards Also, I hope the PR guy’s name really is Seagull. As for the actual move, all they did was get anyone who went in to buy tickets his with wife in trouble. They may have sold more tickets, but there were probably more empty seats.
