Barry Hinson, the head coach of Southern Illinois, went on an epic rant after Murray State beat SIU, 73-65 on Tuesday night. He called his players “mamma’s boys” and said there was a sniper in the gym. He explained that his players thought missed shots counted as tax credits and said “Merry Christmas” before throwing the ball away. Best of all, he brought up his wife. Hinson went the self-deprecating route (“I’ve been telling my wife this for years. Size doesn’t matter.”) and the complimentary route saying his wife would have hit more shots because she knows how to use a pump fake. Listen below and enjoy.

In case you were curious, SIU is now 2-8.
