Rachel Washburn, Former Philly Cheerleader, Honored by Eagles For Military Service

Rachel Washburn was honored before Sunday’s Eagles – Bears game. Washburn, 25, is a former Eagles cheerleader who recently returned from her second tour of duty in Afghanistan. Washburn was an Eagles cheerleader from 2007-2009 while a student at Drexel as well as an Army ROTC student who majored in history. During her time in the Army, Washburn has been honored with the Bronze Star Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Combat Action Badge, Airborne Badge and Air Assault Badge. She also helped deliver a baby in a snowstorm.  [via USA Today]
