Greg Schiano, Fired in Tampa Bay, is Now Free to Go to Penn State or Anywhere Else

Greg Schiano has been fired, along with GM Mark Dominik, according to Jay Glazer. This move will no doubt be lambasted around the league because of how popular Schiano is with the media and fellow coaches.
Schiano was reportedly on Penn State’s list if Bill O’Brien leaves for a NFL job. Was that the last straw, or did Schiano have that leaked because he saw the writing on the wall?
I’ll miss Schiano, if only for the pistol formation victory kneel downs other teams were employing against him.
