Reche Caldwell, a former NFL wide receiver, was among seven men arrested in Tampa, Fla. on Monday tied to an illegal gambling ring. Caldwell played for four teams during his NFL career. His last stop was a season with the Redskins in 2007. Tampa Bay.com cites Caldwell as one of three ringleaders running an illegal gambling house.

From WTSP:

"Tampa Police executed a search of a business in the 1700 block of West Main Street regarding the suspected gambling operation and seized cash, two handguns and approximately one gram of MDMA."

Caldwell was a standout player at the University of Florida. His most famous moment as a pro probably came in the 2007 AFC Championship game playing for the Patriots against the Colts. Caldwell dropped a key pass when he was wide-open, which would have extended the Patriots drive. Instead the Colts got the ball back, won the game and went on to win the Super Bowl.

His drop prompted this face, which he didn’t exactly re-create during his mugshot.
