Andrew Howard had the most impressive high school dunk of the year when you consider the situation. The Southlake Christian Academy (North Carolina) senior threw down this game-winning, alley-oop dunk on an inbounds pass from half-court with 2.1 seconds left on the clock to beat Hickory Grove Christian last night. How does this happen? An incredible amount of hubris must be involved just to draw up this slow-developing play. The execution from Miles Brown’s inbounds pass to Howard converting the oop is perfection. Just a tremendous effort by everyone involved. Well, except for the coach who chose not to guard the inbounder.
