John Wall Doing the Nae Nae with Paul George Was Better Than the Dunk Contest

John Wall won the dunk contest, and then celebrated by dancing with Paul George. If you’re not that hip, you probably spent 24 hours practicing this dance over the weekend. Then, you wondered, ‘hey, what’s the name of it?’
According to folks on twitter, Wall’s dance is called the “Nae Nae.” The provenance of the dance? Sheneneh. Remember that character from the classic Martin Lawrence show in the 1990s? Young people, you’ll want to check this out. Also, here are some Disney characters doing the dance … that 1.9 million people have already viewed.
I have nothing else to add except to say that John Wall is an excellent dancer and I hope he continues to dance throughout his NBA career.
