Yulia Lipnitskaya Fell During the Ladies Short Program in Front of Russian Crowd

Yulia Lipnitskaya – or Julia Lipnitskaia, if you will – the 15-year old Russian sensation fell during the ladies short program today. (It’s been a rough day for the home team.) Lipnitskaya missed her landing during a triple flip, but still scored a 65.53 which is was good for third place in between Team USA’s Gracie Gold and Polina Edmunds with just a few skaters remaining. (Including Ashley Wagner.)
