Ric Flair Turns 65 Today. Here's a 1997 Promo With Him, Roddy Piper, and Kevin Greene.

Ric Flair becomes eligible for most of his social security benefits today, and there are literally hundreds of clips we could pull to commemorate the occasion. This one comes from April of 1997 when he was feuding with the NWO. Flair comes to the ring around the four-minute mark, and goes characteristically bananas on the mic for a few minutes before introducing his future tag-team partners, “Rowdy” Roddy Piper and then-Carolina Panthers linebacker Kevin Greene. The end of the promo is so wrestling.

And, since we’re here, Steve “Mongo” McMichael recalls that one time Ric Flair mooned an entire Vegas casino:
