The 1994 Vancouver Canucks lost to the New York Rangers in the Stanley Cup Final in 7 games. Twenty years later, four members of the team showed up for a day of pond hockey with fans. Geoff Courtnall, Cliff Ronning, Kirk McLean and Dave Babych crashed an annual pond hockey game played every year by a group of Cancuks’ fans. For some reason, they were drinking Budweiser, but it was nice to see the former players get to lift a cup.
