Nebraska Basketball Player Proposes to Girlfriend on Senior Night

Senior Cornhuskers guard Mike Peltz dropped down to one knee and proposed to his girlfriend before his last home game ever, a 77-68 upset victory over Wisconsin last night. She appears to say yes.

Peltz appeared in 11 games this season, averaging 4.9 minutes and .1 points. (So that’s, what, one basket?) Nevertheless, it would probably be incorrect to characterize this year as anything but a major success for him.
