Dion Phaneuf Injured Teammate James van Riemsdyk With a Check to the Head

Dion Phaneuf should probably try to stay low on hits in the future. Phaneu lined up Patrick Marleau in Tuesday’s Sharks – Leafs game, but missed, hitting teammate James van Riemsdyk with a shoulder to the head. van Riemsdyk, who has had concussions in the past left the game to be examined before returning to the ice. Maybe it is time for hockey players to stop being so damn tough.
